Matt is relatively new to fishing compared to many anglers, and while he doesn’t have a long, storied backstory or fond memories of fishing with relatives since he was a young boy, he’s more than made up for it in passion and dedication. He started fishing with a float around seven years ago with a friend on a local water, but it wasn’t until the past two or three years that he truly became immersed in carp fishing. The films, the adventures, the excitement Matt wanted a piece of it all. Now, three years into his carp fishing journey, Matt spends as much time on the bank as he can, whether it’s on busy day-ticket waters back home or venturing into the unknown abroad. Countless days spent battling the elements have only strengthened his passion for the sport and the buzz it brings. Matt is always experimenting with new techniques and exploring different venues, constantly seeking to improve his skills and knowledge. What he loves most about carp fishing is the constant learning figuring out the puzzle, adapting to new challenges, and embracing the adventure and camaraderie that come along with it.
